Sermon: RJK ‘7th Sunday of Apostles’

On the 7th Sunday of the Apostles, Reverend John Kushaba by God’s grace preached about the light of Christ which we sometimes manage to neglect. He also explained the responsibilities, obligations and rewards of living a Christian life in this world as we work out our salvation with the correct attitude; in love.

Sermon: RJK ‘6th Sunday of Apostles’

On the 6th Sunday of Apostles Reverend John Kushaba preached about patience by referring to the patience of the woman who was bound for 18 years (Luke 12:57 – 13:17). He also explained in depth that patience brings about blessings far greater than what we initially expected. Looking into our own life, the faithful were encouraged to see that ‘pain’ isn’t always bad and that it is not always God’s fault. Just like when gold is refined, it is ‘fire’ and ‘heat’ that purifies it. God is our refiner who removes the heat when He sees His reflection on the ‘gold’.
