Rejoice Festival 2013

Assyrian Church of the East Youth Association – Sydney. The Youth Association endeavors to cater for the Assyrian youth living in New South Wales.

Through the study of the Living Word of God as well as social and cultural activities, young Assyrians continue to grow together spiritually and socially, developing and establishing wonderful and long-lasting relationships, built upon the love of God. We draw upon the teachings of John 2:14b, “I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.”
Last year we decided to hold the ‘Rejoice’ festival for families to enjoy an Easter event. As a result of the success of the event it has now become an annual event. This year the festival will be held on Sunday 7 April 2013 from 12pm-9pm. The event will be held on the grounds behind Nineveh Lounge (673 Smithfield Road).
We warmly welcome  everyone to participate in the festival by becoming a stall holder. In order to ensure the success of the event we are inviting a variety of businesses to participate. Last year more than 7,000 individuals attended over the course of the day.
