Vigil of Prayer for Peace

Due to recent events that are occurring in the Middle East (namely Nineveh, Iraq), a vigil of prayer will be held at St Hurmizd’s Cathedral on Tuesday 17 June 2014 at 7pm. Prayers will be held in Syriac, English, and Arabic by all Sydney based clerics, deacons and faithful.

The service will be officiated by HB Mar Meelis Zaia AM Metropolitan.

Please come along and join us in a prayer of unity, love, and hope. Further, please invite your family and friends to this spiritual night.

‘I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.’ – Romans 15:30

May God have mercy on us all!

God bless,
