Walkathon 2014: The Walk For Nineveh!

ACEYAS’ annual Walkathon is back, and this time we are walking for Nineveh!

This year the Walkathon will take place on Sunday 24 August. The walk will start and end at St Hurmizd’s Cathedral, and will be officially be opened by HB Mar Meelis Zaia AM Metropolitan among reverend priests and deacons.

Proceeds will go towards ACERO’s Mosul Appeal, the Archdiocesan Youth Conference 2015 (Auckland), other ACEYA events, Syriac Studies at The University of Sydney, and The Children’s Starlight Foundation Australia.

Registrations require a $10 fee (which will cover costs for shirts, hats, and catering) and will begin this Sunday (29/6/2014) after Raza Qadisha at St Hurmizd’s Cathedral, St Mary’s Church, St George’s Church, and Sts Peter and Paul Parish’s Parish (English and Arabic).
