Holy Eucharist (English, Aramaic & Neo-Aramaic)

The central worship service held each Sunday. The oblation is a service offered up by the clergy to heaven, through material elements, in hope of forgiveness of sins and of an answer to prayer.

Listed below are the locations for the offering of the Holy Eucharist by various clergyman:
– St Hurmizd’s Cathedral (Assyrian) at 8:30 AM
– St Mary’s Church (Assyrian) at 8:30 AM
– St George’s Parish (Assyrian) at 9 AM
– Ss Peter and Paul Parish (English) at 9AM
– St Hurmizd’s Cathedral (Neo-Aramaic) at 6PM (first Sunday of every month)

Sunday School (Assyrian)

These are small classes designed to develop and nurture the young kids to have a basic knowledge of God and to prepare them for the central worship service held each Sunday. Held in the Assyrian language at St Hurmizd’s Assyrian Primary School classes.

Sunday School (English)

These are small classes designed to develop and nurture the young kids to have a basic knowledge of God and to prepare them for the central worship service held each Sunday. Held in the English language at Ss Peter and Paul Church Hall.

Adult & Family Bible Studies (English)

The collective group study of the Holy Bible including discussions, questions, activities and fellowship. Held in English language on Wednesdays at Ss Petre and Paul Church at 8:00 pm.

Youth Bible Studies (English & Assyrian)

The collective group study of the Holy Bible including discussions, questions, activities and fellowship. Held in the English and Assyrian languages on Tuesdays at St Hurmizd’s Assyrian Primary School at 6:00 pm for Junior High School Students. Followed by Senior Youth (Years 11 & 12, and older youth) at 7:30 pm.

Children Bible Studies (English & Assyrian)

The collective group study of the Holy Bible including discussions, questions, activities and fellowship. Held in the English and Assyrian languages on Wednesdays at St Hurmizd’s Assyrian Primary School at 6:00 pm for all preschool and primary aged children.

Preaching and Fellowship nights (English)

Weekly preaching in English on Friday at Ss Peter and Paul Church at 8:00 pm. Preaching is followed by fellowship that sometimes includes refreshments, activities and entertainment.

Preaching Night (Assyrian)

Weekly preaching in Assyrian on Tuesday at St Mary’s Church at 7:00 pm.

Senior Citizens

This organisation conducts various activities such as excursions, tours, English and Assyrian classes, workshops, etc, spending quite joyous moments with members of their community. See committee members of dates and times of such events.

Assyrian Cultural House – NZ

The ACH operates under the umbrella of the Assyrian Church of the East to provide classes to the Assyrian Community in Auckland, New Zealand where they teach the Assyrian Language and Christian teachings.
